I set down the pile of items I had gathered, and pulled off the gloves. I got out some fruit and gave it to both of them. "We should all probably get some sleep for the night. Good night." I said, walking into my room and going to sleep.
Ooc - I gtg, i'll probably be on at about 11:00, 12:00 ish EST.
"Er.. I can get you some fruit, you're obviously really deprived of energy.." I went out and into another room to get some fruit. But mostly to make that situation less awkward..
I saw James walk through the door, and I was filled with relief instantly. Out of happiness, I hugged him when he walk in. Realizing what I did, I backed away and blush a little, looking down at my shoes again.
I finally came to a stop at my house, and saw Addie. "You're alive!" I yelled when I finally came to a stop, and safe inside the house. "But where's.. James?" I half asked, half said, quietly.
I quickly called Mikka on the whistle, and hopped on her back. Soaring about the deserty land, i looked for signs of Addie or James. I couldn't see anything but dust and sand. They died. Because of me. It was all my fault. I layed my head down on Mikka, closed my eyes, and just began to think.
I heard a shrill shriek in the distance. "The timekeeper.." I whispered, barely audible. I dropped the stack I had collected, out of shock, but quickly scooped it all back up again. "James! Addie!" I yelled. We had to go, and now.
I laughed a little bit, then said, "Alright, we should probably get moving. Here's a pair of gloves, so no splinters or metal splinters are gotten." I handed them each a thick pair of poorly mended gloves.
"Gather lots of metal scraps, or wooden planks. I'll check them for bugs, or see if the wood is rotten when we get home," I said. "Also, a little fruit wouldn't hurt, just make sure it's safe with me first."
"Good idea," I said, pulling out a small whistle from my pocket. "This is like a dog whistle, but for dragons." I blew the whistle, and Mikka came swooping down from the skies. "See?" I said, with a small smile.
Ooc- gtg to guitar lessons :(, be back in about 45 mins
I thought about that for a moment. "We'll expand. But I'm not changing a thing about what's already built.." I finally said, with a hint of sadness in my voice.
