You and your dog, Sam, go for your usuall walk through the woods, on a usuall morning, with the usuall trees, plants, animals, and.... 'What's that?' you think as you pick up a not-usuall, very odd.. box. Your curiosity forces you to take it home. You put on your bedroom floor and let Sam sniff it. He sniffs it, and sniffs it, and finally puts his paws over his head. You take the lid off the box and find a sparkly, blue rock, a wilted flower, and a dead tree bud. You think, "Well, that's odd..." But you still go to bed. In the middle of the night, though, you hear a strange noise. You open your eyes to see the lid of your box, and your window open!! You look out and see the contains of the box slithering into a hole by the tree you planted when you were little! The next morning you get up, go outside, and the hole is glowing!! "What in the world....!" You think as you and Sam fall into this misterious hole....!

I found this box on my walk with Sam, my dog. We went home and Sam didn't like it, but I still opened it. Inside was a bright blue rock, a wilted flower, and a dead tree bud. That night, when I was asleep, I heard a new a wierd noise. I opened my eyes to find my window open! I looked out and found the contents of the box crawling almost to a hole in the ground near a tree I planted when I was little!! I was so tired I figured I was dreaming so went back to bed. The next morning, just to check, I went out and the hole was glowing!! The thing I know, Sam and I are falling down this hole!...

I didn't know what to do! The hole was too deep to climb out, and I didn't have anything like food, water, or anything I really need!!! And I don't really want to go on.. I mean the rock was moving!! OMG! I just remembered that I had my cell phone! I had to call my BFF, Aria! She can bring food, and a way out! I called her and told her my story.. she said she would be right over.. and she was! I was going to be free...

All of a sudden, Aria was standing next to me in the hole! "Aria.. please tell me this is part of your plan to get out!!?"
And of course.. it wasn't. But she had food! I attacked the bag and all that was in there was fruits and vegetables!! Of course... Aria is a vegetarian.. I forgot. And I'm still hungry!! Wait ...Maya! But when I checked, Aria had landed on my phone!! So I just took hers and called Maya.

When I called Maya she said she would bring food.. but she sounded resentful. I hope she believed me! All of a sudden I heard her voice in my back yard! I called her over, but I guess she wasn't watching cause all of a sudden she landed on top of me... breaking all of our phones... "You weren't looki...REAL FOOD!" Maya wasn't a vegetarian! But then she realized where we were and started to ask questions. I told her my story, and she just stared at me. I just then realized that Aria was unconsious! Maya and I both laughed...

I just noticed that Sam was still here... but he was barking at something up ahead. It sounded kind of wierd... and... all of sudden there were BATS! Maya and I both screamed and ducked down. I then noticed a note... It read, 'To find a way out, and make the time start, help the Wonder Rock.' "Wha..."

"Well... That rock I found was pretty... wonderful? I guess... maybe... it could be..." I was really confused, but that all stopped when I realized that Sam was running down the glowing tunnel!.. "Sam no!" I screamed, and before I knew it I was running down the tunnel after him...

I ignored Maya's comment and concentrated on running fast to catch up with Sam. He kept running really fast and suddenly he just stopped... in front of the dead tree bud! I stopped and jumped back.. right into Maya. "It's.... it's.... the... tree bud...!"

I started to look around for clues on where to go, when I saw it... Writing was just appearing in the wall! It read, "Make me live again..." ...I got really confused then! And I thought for a while... then said, "Wait... to make a tree come alive... plant it!" So I looked around and found a shovel, and started to dig a little hole in the ground. Maya must have thought I was crazy but I wanted out of here!

I finally placed the bud in the hole. I asked Maya if she had any water and she did.. I put a few drops on it (not wanting to waste drinking water), and I waited. Suddenly the ground began to shake! I saw a small tree sprout up! And it sounded like it was saying... "Thank you!" Sam barked but I grabbed his collar so he couldn't run off...

We started to walk on, when Sam flipped out and ran of into the tunnel! We started to run but it was no use... He was gone... I kept walking. I wanted out of here!!! Then I stopped... I saw a.. wilted flower right in front of me! 'What is this?' I thought...'A little stroll down the box's memory lane?' I got tired of this nonsense... I wanted my dog back! I just sat down and cried...

I looked up and wiped my eyes. "The flower needs water." I hadn't even read the note and I knew that was what we needed to do...

We crawled through the little space we had between the, now huge, flower and the wall. What I saw made me almost cry with joy.. Sam!...sitting in front a black rock?...
