"I can't see why not." Hope sat in the corner looking terrified and sick... and when I woke up, I knew why...

(ooc- Kate won't be back till tomorrow... but I was thinking that this could be when she got her power..? Do you want to wait till tomorrow?)

"What...?"

"You mean.. like a mouse?" I said smiling and laughing.

I laughed some more.. "You're rediculous..." I smiled at her. I just then realized that Alex and James were gone. They had gone out the door, since I hadn't found any, and went to get more food. ..I could've sworn I saw a mouse run across the floor... wierd.. Then Mikka squaked out side.

"Uhh... who are you talking to? No one's here but you and me..." I looked at her as she walked towards the door and opened it... she said something about Alex and walked outside. I suddenly heard a shrill shreek from outside. I jumped up and almost ran into Hope. She looked horrified! "What..? What? Did you see a monster? Time keeper?" She looked like she saw a ghost..!!

"Ok.. I think you're loosing it!" I said, but she wasn't paying attention. She went over to Alex's food storage bin for Mikka, grabbed some raw meat, and through it out the door. "What are you doing??"

"How... How do you know she wants food?" I asked scratching the back of my head.. I caught a glimpse of Mikka outside. It's not like she had a sign on her that said, 'feed me' or anything..!

"Ok...?" I saw Alex and James off in the distance.. I ran over and started to tell them what was going on, but they stared at me like I was crazy!

I just remembered the rock... "Powers! Rocks!!" I screamed, and they looked at me like I just got dropped off from planet looneyville! "What I mean is.. Your power.. from the rock..? Can you talk to animals..???"

I looked at Alex and she looked like she was thinking really hard about this...
