I made sure mostly Julie didn't eat anything, now that I knew Mark wasn't going to. Hopefully..

I heard Mark and addie yell at me, but it all looked so good that i couldn't resist. "guys!" i shouted. "come'mere!" I Walked through the door and the smell got even better as i walked past a pot of mashed potatoes. I looked around a bit, and saw, in the far corner of the room there was steak, turkey, ham, chiken, beef, porck and some other meats the were cooked to perfection. Then I remebered, This old place isn't ordinary. This must be some kind of a trick! "guys i'm coming back!" i yelled but before I could take one step, all of the knives in that kitchen floated up, aimed for me, and shot at me. i ducked way down to the floor and a big can of moslassis fell to ground in front of me, way faster than it should've. It sort of slithered (rather quickly) over to me and as soon as i got up, it grabbed my legs and pulled me down. It covered my mouth and it wrapped around my arms like a sticky rope. wait a minuet, this is all... food! I thpught to my self. I tried to open my mouth but i couldn't and the rope on my arms and my legs were getting tighter every second.

I spied a note on the table, and I walked over and picked it up. Reading it, it said 'Help yourself..' I turned around to tell the others again, do NOT eat anything, when I saw Julie all wrapped up by.. food?! I pulled out a small dagger from the belt loop in my jeans, and tried to slash at the molasses rope, but it was no use. It just reformed again. "Don't worry, Julie!" I said, though she couldn't respond, and looked around the room for something, anything, to help this.

When Addie couldn't cut the...molassis, fear filled my eyes and saw some of the forks float up like the knives and they caught on her shirt and pulled her back to the wall. Now the only person who could help us was... oh no, were're doomed!

"Are you sure it's all right to eat?" I questioned, talking fast, and taking nervous glances at Julie, "you were the one saying 'don't eat anything', right?" Just as I was speaking, all the kitchen utensils floated up and pinned me to the wall. I tried to pull them away, thinking I could easily, but they were stuck. Now the only one to help us was..

When he freed my arms the thing got weaker and my arms were able to rip the thing off and i got free. Just then I ran over to get Addie, and Mark fainted! I got the forks and knives out of the wall (eventually) and ran over to Mark. "MARK! can you hear me?!" i shouted. I slapped his face but nothing happend. I slapped it a little harder. Then i slapped it as hard as i could but nothing hppend. "hey Addie, i think i read something about wolves being able to calm a person down and wake them up from a faint or a sleep! where's Luke?" i asked but he was out in the hallway afraid to come in. oh no...

Then i saw something in Marks back, like a, knife! "Oh great, wolves are good for healing too." i said i pulled the knife out, and i had no choice. "Ok Addie, you have to promise not to freak out, ok?" i said

"Alright, what?" I questioned Julie, walking over to Mark. "And who did this?" I was a pretty calm person, but I swear this old mansion was driving me insane. Not really, but it seemed like that.

"okay so don't scream or anything." i said, as i morphed into a wolf and walked towards Mark. I went to the cut on his back and cleaned up all of the blood then went to his face and licked it so that he woke up. i'm not sure how this was supposed to help, but i guess it did to those 2 mountain hikers in the newspaper, but all we could do now was hope.

Whoa. 'How was I supposed to not scream or anything? Does everyone one here have a power or something? Am I the only normal one? Do I have powers and not know it?'
