I was walking along my regular path on a Saturday in July. I was taking in the great smell of the outdoors and the summer breeze. Then I heard something behind me and looked around. I called out, "Hello? He.. he.. hello..?" no answer. "Very funny Brenden! But.. enough is enough! Cut it out!" Brenden was my older brother that always tries to scare me. When he didn't jump out or say, 'Got cha!' I got kinda worried... I saw something move. It didn't look tall enough to be Brenden. Suddenly, it started to run towards me! Then, a little girl ran smack into me! She looked maybe about my age.. or a little younger. "Come on! Run!" I figured she was playing a game with some friends.. so I ran. I started laughing and slowing down, but she looked behind me and said, "Oh no! Hurry! Run FASTER!!" I looked at her confused and just stopped. I looked behind me only to see these weird black figures grabbing me, tieing me up, and throwing me in their trunk! I struggled and fought but I couldn't break free! The car started and they drove away.. with me in the back... "What's going on...?!" was the only thing I could think as we drove off.. now far away from home...

I am only 11..! What do they think they're doing? I thought as we kept driving.. it seemed like hours before the car stopped. I heard the 'clunk.. clunk... ce-chew.' of the motor turing off.. and the jingle when the keys were taken out. I then heard te car door open, some whispers, and the trunk of the car opening. Light poored in as the two large, back figures grabbed me out and took me into a building. They placed me on a table as I prepared for the worst.. when... they just... left? I could've gotten up and escaped.. but I was in shock. I just sat there for the longest time when suddenly I heard screams outside! "There she is!... Get her!" I looked out a small hole in the wall to see what was going on. I saw the little girl outside! She ran circles around those weird-os! I got really excited... and confused.. when she took, what looked like a gun, out of her back pocket! She aimed it at both of them and took her shot.. and hit them square in the eyes! They fell over and she ran in the room where I was. "Shhhh!" She looked at me surprised and releived. "I thought they had my parents... wait.. who are you? ...And where ARE my parents?!" She looked worried now. "Mmmmm! Germmm!" I mumbled. She took the cloth off my mouth and repeated the question...

"I don't even know where I am! Or what's going on?..." I replied nervously. "Oh... sorry! Wait.. then why did they take you...?" She said more to herself. "I don't know.. but can we get out of here?!" I asked forcefully. She untied me and we walked out as she explained what was going on... "Well... you see.. my father is a secret agent. I was out for a walk when I saw these guys in here. My father had been after them for months.. he would be so proud of me! But.. sadly.. They saw me before I saw them and they captured me. I broke free today. I had been in there for five days! Can you beleive that?!" She said to me excitedly.. then went on... "Anyway, When I ran into you.. I was running from them. I guess when they saw you, they didn't even look, and they thought you were me. Sorry..." I just stared at her in awe. She looked at me smiling, but it soon faded away. I thought that it was over and that I could go home! ...but she said I couldn't! "Why not?!" I screamed at her. She looked at me and said, "Well.. you know what's going on now... you have to help me find my dad..." I just stared at her as we walked... not knowing what I got myself into when I went for that walk this morning...

We went around town looking for her dad.. we didn't even find a single clue! "Maybe... we need to go back.." She said questioningly. "Go back.. where? ...Home?" I asked super excitedly.. hoping I could go home now. "Not exactly... I meant back to wher those men captured us..." I stopped and just stared at her while she kept walking. She turned around and said sorry and that she had no other choice. "But we have to go back there...?" I got super scared again! "I don't want to either.. but.. I have to see if they have my parents!" I understood then.. I would do the same thing if I was in her spot. "Okaaayy..." I said reluctantly as we turned around.. and went back to where they captured us...

As we walked she hummed a tune that she said her dad taught her. I could understand why she loved him so much. I was going to say something to calm her down.. but we reached our destination.. I started to stutter nervously.. and then I saw them. They were walking around looking for... us! We walked silently to the other side of the building and went in a hole in the wall. She dropped in first, then me. I just then relized that I didn't even know her name! But I felt it wasn't the wrong time to ask... in fact it was the absolute wrong time to ask! We were in the room that her parents were in and she was crying and hugging them.. Clap! Clap! I heard in the doorway.. when I looked the men were standing there! "Family reunion.. huh?" One asked in an evil voice...

The girl glared at him and said, "Leave us alone!" The second one chuckled and responded, "You think it's that easy? ...Grow up, Munchkin!" Her father said something but I was too confused! "Time out! ...Can I leave?" "Who in the heck are you?" They both said at the same time... It was worth a shot...

"Uhhh.." was all I could reply. I was in shock that that was the first time they had noticed me. "Who are you?" The men repeated in a very forcefull and evil voice. "Ci..Cicilia.." Cicilia Mangore to be percise.. but I wasn't even close to telling them my last name! They eyeballed me closely... "Why are you here?" The girl stepped up and said, "You have no reason to hurt her! Let her go and she won't do you any harm!" "Mandy.. shh.." Her mother had told her. Mandy stepped back and sat on her mother's lap. "Let her go? Now? Ha! You inccolent little child!" I didn't want to hear any more so I tuned it out, and closed my eyes.

When I opened my eyes.. everyone was gone! ..except for some chains on my wrists and a note... "Everyone else is in their cells! Sweet dreams!" I was totally confused untill my head got really heavy.. and the next thing I knew I was sitting in complete darkness, not knowing where I was...

When I Looked around, as my eyes ajusted to the darkness, I was in my bed, at home! I jumped out and ran around the house screaming, "Mom! Dad! I'm home! I'm home! I'm...." I didn't find them anywhere.. in fact this didn't look like my house at all! I got really scared and something pinched me.. that's when I woke up! I was in my bed with my mom and dad sitting there and my older brother was pinching me! "Guys!!! I'm home!!!" They looked confused and annoyed, "Yes, sweety. You're home...? Where did you go exaclty?" My mom sounded like she was kidding. "Guys! I'm home! I had been gone for days! ...What's worng?" They all laughed, "Darling, you were having a bad dream!" "Yeah Dumbell! You woke us all up! You never left!" Ugh, I hate my brother. "You mean... The little girl.. the men in black..? They were all a nightmare..?" I got confused... "Yes, Cicilia. You were having a nightmare and screaming.. are you alright?" I almost cried.. "Yeah, I'm fine.. I just missed you guys.." I thought then about Mandy.. and how, even in a dream, real people can help you any day...
