I sighed. "Well, I've been stuck here for two years. No doubt I'm M.I.A. at my home town." "This place," I said, "is a very interesting world. I just call it 'darkness' because that's the name that fits it best." I looked behind them and same Mikka. "Ah, there you are! Mikka is very rebellious. She likes to go out and wander the world without me. She still is my loyal dragon companion though. Her name is pronounced 'Meek-uh.'" I went out and petted Mikka. "Want to go for a ride?" I asked, hopping on Mikka.

i backed up against the ally wall "no, no, no, i'm HORRIBLY afraid of heights! i even had to close my eyes while driving over the mackinaw bridge!" i said and i looked at the Mikka and...whoever that was.

Ooc: btw i have to go at 8 so i'll just go now. 4:00 tomarrow?

"Alright then, suit yourselves.." I said, and with that I flew up and away into the air. I did circles and tricks to wow them (or maybe frighten them.)

After the flight, I landed back down with a grin. Hopping of my dragon, I began to say something. But this time, there was a boy my age standing there. My smile faded, and I backed away a few steps. I put a hand on my dagger, kept in one of my belt loops.

I pulled out the small knife and held it close to his throat. "Who are you, what are you doing here, and how did you get here?" I asked with narrowed eyes.

I glared at him, then let off. Putting the dagger back into my belt loop, I said "My name's Alex. How long ago did you get here?" I put my hood down and brushed my bangs out of my eyes.

"Hmm. Not too long ago then, probably. Time isn't really of importance here. There's no way to keep track of it here, or the days either," I said, "It's not impossible, just difficult to do." I petted Mikka's neck and kept walking, making my way to my house in the alleyway.

"Probably not, judging by the fact it's broken," I said, looking down at the broken watch on his wrist. "You probably fell on it when you got here."

"Lots. But trust me, you wouldn't want to hear about them, none the less encounter them. Just try to always keep a weapon on hand, even if it's just a wooden plank or something."

"Yep." I said to James, and picked up a splintered piece of wood from the ground, dusted it off, and handed it to him. "There." I turned to the two girls. "I'm back," I said, "and this is James. He probably has the same story, almost, as you two."

"Mhmm. I might have one for you later, if I could find an extra in my house." I unfolded a small cloth and handed him an apple sized fruit that looked more like a giant orange raspberry. "You must be pretty hungry. Try it, it's really good. It's a fruit we have here that's really common. You'll see tons of it on both bushes and trees." I took another one out and bit into it.

I nodded in agreement. I looked over at the horizon, and the sky was darkening. My face went serious, and I said "Get inside. Nighttime is not safe." I let James, and the other two girls into the alley. It was actually a big alleyway, and the makeshift house wasn't too crowded. I pulled out a tall slab of rusted metal, and covered the entrance of the house. The lighting didn't get darker though. "I guess now would be a good time to explain a lot about this place.."

"Alright, hmm.. where to start. Well, first of all, this place is run by the timekeeper. I'm not sure if you saw that big, tall, old fashioned clock when you got here. It's kind of like Big Ben, that tower in London. Anyhow, that's where the timekeeper is. He has 'portals' set up from here to the real world. He sets them up to watch people try to survive this cruel world for his amusement. He's got a huge view of this whole world from that tower.
I believe the only way to get out of this place is to kill the timekeeper, though I'm not entirely sure of that. There has to be something up there that's keeping us all here, and that's setting up these portals.
